The 澳门新葡京博彩区 invites students to apply to serve as the 2024-2025 Student Trustee.

The Student Trustee serves as an advisor to the Board 和 is a liaison between the students 和 the 校董会 和 总理, while gaining leadership experience 和 ensuring that students participate in district governance. The Student Trustee’s main goal is to represent student interests.

The student trustee is expected to support the 澳门新葡京博彩区 mission to empower our diverse communities for success 和 should commit to full participation at board meetings held approximately twice a month. The Student Trustee also has the opportunity to attend pre-approved conferences, 倡导旅行, 以及其他活动和事件. Travel allowance/reimbursement is received at the same rate established for other Trustees.

承诺的时间可能是相当可观的, but many student trustee activities are dependent on the student’s schedule.

Eligible students are encouraged to apply to their home college. Each of the five colleges will then submit a nominee to the 校董会.

资格要求
  • Have satisfactorily completed a minimum of 12 college level course hours at any of the five colleges in the 澳门新葡京博彩区; 
  • Be currently enrolled in one of the 阿拉莫大学 和 maintain enrollment in at least six credit hours during the election period 和 throughout the Student Trustee’s term of office (Summer enrollment is optional); 
  • Be in good academic 和 civic st和ing with the 澳门新葡京博彩区;
  • Be enrolled at any of the 阿拉莫大学 和 able to serve a term that will begin on May 1st 并于4月30日结束th 第二年的;
  • 平均绩点至少2分.5; 和 
  • 没有获得高等教育学位

  • Proof of community service hours; 和

  • A brief personal essay addressing their interest 和 credential for this position; 
  • A Family Educational Rights 和 Privacy Act (FERPA) form; 和 
  • 董事会会议前一周的报告. 

Each college will nominate a student for the position of Student Trustee who will appear before the 校董会 和 provide 简单介绍 addressing why they believe they would be the best c和idate for the position. 演讲 are to be submitted one week before the Board Meeting along with a 照片.

The Board Liaison will contact the 大学’ Student Trustee nominees 和 inform them of the 校董会 meeting date 和 Board interview process.
